Terms of Business

General : These terms and conditions of business supersede all previous terms and conditions of sale. The placing of an order implies acceptance of the most up to date terms and conditions.

Prices : I reserve the right to change prices without prior notification.

Availability : All items listed, or quoted for, are offered subject to availability at the time of firm order. All sizes quoted are approximate.

Ordering : Pots may be ordered from stock or especially commissioned, get in touch by using the contact page of this website.

Collection : Pots may be collected by arrangement from an event listed on this website, by prior arrangement. Please note the Studio at Portland Arts Centre is not permanently open to the public. The home address is given only for postal communication and is never open to the public.

Delivery : This can be arranged by Royal Mail : see additional delivery charges.

Fees and Deposits for Booking Courses and Workshops : The terms of payments are set out against each type of booking on this website.

Payment : All payments can be made using the Paypal system or by cash or cheques payable to David Archer.

Payment for formalised account customers shall be paid in full 30 days following the date of invoice. Thereafter an additional charge of 2% will be added per month due on the amount outstanding, payable with the principle sum owing. This is not to be construed as an offer of credit.

Pots remain the property of David Archer until payment has been made in full.

Pots are never provided on "Sale or Return" basis to any retailer, only by direct purchase, subject to negotiation.

Hundred Aker Wood is not registered for VAT.

Pots may be despatched using Royal Mail

Delivery charges will be added to prices shown against each item.

Complaints and Returns

If goods are supplied by "mail order" the requirements of the Distance Selling regulations will apply to the contract, which includes a 7 day "cooling off" period. Details of this will be supplied with the confirmation of order, when delivery will be arranged.

Goods purchased in person are not subject to those regulations.

Customers wishing to return purchases for any reason should use the contact form and state their reasons for the request. Such requests will be treated sympathetically.
