In 2010 Hundred-aker-wood pottery will be attending Dorset County Show as before to sell our Original Dorset Vertical Chicken Roaster and a range of our other stoneware pottery. Also we are offering the visitor the chance to throw a pot on our electric wheels under the guidance of David.

I am available to enhance your own event, if you would like a potter to demonstrate at your future event

I am also running pottery weekend courses, 2/3/4/6 day long courses, lessons and taster sessions and workshops for beginners and the more experienced pottery student at our workshop at the Portland Arts Centre.

Also my mobile operation is visiting Milborne St Andrew and Sutton Poyntz for lessons on Wednesdays and Fridays - see the pages about lessons and tasters for details.

For groups

My whole mobile pottery set up is available for parties for young or old. Each occasion tailored to suit your wishes and last up to five hours or as long as you request. Fees available on request and include all materials, firings and return of finished and glazed pots.

16 days of exhibiting stoneware pottery and running a workshop, making a 50 piece 6 place dinner service from scratch to finish.
Excellent friendly pub venue.

Dorset County Show

We will be situated in the countryside arena for the 3rd year running giving visitors a chance to have a go on the wheel and having a pot fired in our miniture raku kiln. We will also have a range of our own pottery on sale.

Frome Cheese Show
The Showground, West Woodlands, Near Frome, Somerset
Eager to repeat our feat of being awarded best rural trade stand, we will be in attendance selling our pottery and providing opportunities for visitors to "have a go" on the wheel.
